At LABORATORY SURPLUS, we take great pains to buy the best equipment, clean it, and whenever possible, test it to the best of our ability. We will also attempt to describe our items, including their condition, as honestly as possible.

• USED ITEMS SOLD AS-IS- Our used items are sold as-is, with no warranty of any kind expressed, implied, or otherwise. We do provide a 30 day evaluation period on most of our items (anything electrical or with moving parts). If you are not satisfied within that period - barring abuse, misuse, or incorrect installations - please contact us for a return merchandise authorization. Trash or Treasure items, glassware, and reference books are excluded from our 30 day evaluation. Used item return details here
   
• NEW EQUIPMENT- ADAM EQUIPMENT and LW SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS- These items are sold new and with full manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturers’ policies outlined here.
   
• SHIPPING INFO- Shipping, packaging and insurance charges will be added to the price of your purchase. Most average size shipments are subject to an additional $5-$10 packing fee. Any item that is fragile, large, or heavy may have extra packing charges added for boxing, crating, or palletizing as required. You will definitely be given a total prior to any charges being processed.
   
• We ship within the U.S.A. only. International buyers, if you can provide us with a shipping location and a contact within the United States, we will gladly ship the item to that point. It will then be your responsibility to have it exported from there.
   
• PAYMENT TERMS - We require prepayment prior to shipping. Our listed prices do not include shipping or taxes (TN taxes are the only ones we collect). At this time we can only  accept US dollars for payments.
  
  Payment options:
• Paypal- No membership is required, and it is free. Paypal will accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and eCheck  (Paypal is the only way we can process Discover and American Express). This option is also perfect for the buyer who wishes to buy securily without sharing his financial information.
• Mastercard and Visa - These may be processed directly through our office via phone or fax. Funds must be US based for this option and processed as US dollars.
• Personal or company checks drawn on a US bank. Checks must clear prior to shipping.
• Money orders
• Wire transfers- A $35.00 fee will be added to domestic orders for a wire transfer. International wire transfers will be subject to a $50 fee (US dollars only).
