Turret Phase

The turret phase system rotates with a flip of the thumb between Phase 10X/40X/100X and BF and DF. Polarization, dark field condenser, and 100X DF objectives also available.

True Koehler

The true Koehler 50W illumination system creates a parallel light path at the specimen plane for optimum specimen resolution and clarity. An economical option is the Simple Koehler (M2-KHL) accessory, which can be added to any M Series LabScope.

Epi-Fluorescent System

The Epi-Fluorescent System features a 100W mercury vertical illuminator and quickchange filters for common fluorescing stains. Special coated UV optics produce superior fluorescence images while reducing ghost images.

Helpful Hints for M-Series LabScope: Infinity Plan optics offer maximum resolution, flat-field viewing on an expandable platform. DIN Plan optics feature 100% flat-field clarity on a fixed 160mm platform.  DIN Semi-Plan optics are an economical choice with roughly 85% flat-field imaging. LW Scientific’s replacement objectives work on other brands of microscopes, too.

**Note: To speed up differential counting and scanning, use the 50X oil PLAN objective. This objective comes with the M- Series Labscope, but will fit nearly any brand of DIN microscope with 160mm tube length. It produces a high-resolution flat field across 100% of the field of view, and oil will ensure brightness and clarity. The 50X oil objective offers double the field-of-view of standard 100X oil objectives, and all at about roughly half the price of Olympus objectives (M2-50XP is priced at $400).
